His little head now looks like a big boy cut in the back. I did it myself and cried afterwards!
Each day my precious is getting bigger. He isn't hitting all the typical milestones like the books say he should but he is progressing. I am so proud.
Just a few tidbits about life with Laik....
- August 30....the first tooth broke the skin!
- August 31....the curl was cut!
- Within the last month....a "Kim-itude" (Todd's term, not mine) is starting to develop.
- Toys continue to be more and more of an interest.
- Making progress with solid foods. He really likes the Chester's Corn Puffs....he just grins each time he gets a piece!
- Slowly, he is beginning to pay attention to the food on the tray. Still not grabbing it, but hopefully soon.
- The drink from a straw is still a work in progress, but we continue to try.
- He likes strongly flavored foods.
- He is sleeping on his side. This was a big surprise one morning about two weeks ago.
We have a lot going on and football season is firing up! We'll keep you posted....
